Yeah deffo.

like I say each to there own.

I think its something you have to know what you want before you start.

My early ibiza's i just kept standard. The main reason being all my money was going else where and i just couldnt afford it and didnt want my car to look like it had ram raided halfords....if i had the cash back then i would have aimed at something like cruiser 87. It looks nice and i never needed to be anywhere in a hurry.

I am more than happy to learn from other people's mistakes.

Its Craig btw. Im thinking of just keeping the 1.4 for a while longer as I use it pretty much everyday and it doesnt cost a fortune on few etc. Maybe in a few years I will get something else with alot more power to use as a weekend car. Got alot of plans over the 1.4 over the next 6 months anyway

I am sure you will agree though mate to many people around here (west mids) think buying a mk4 golf and getting the biggest wheels they can afford on it looks gooood.

Yeah they are, two MK4's with them on the local used car pitch, ones a tdi and ones a 2.0 8v GTI!

They must only slow them down, rub the **** outa the arches and send the speedo way out!

The White one is p**** mate! Both your cars are looking really tidy, it's nice to look out the window and have two mk2's on the drive.
I'm in the process of persuading my parents to get rid of our trusty red 1.4 and buy a certain black 8v.
Anyone want the old reliable beasty (this is only in jest and not a for sale add mods )
Deft be nice e to see your motor dude, will get back on the case of a mids meet after the new year

Yeah, please do mate !

I never planned on having 2, I was in the process of buying my 16v and i had put the 8v up for sale on ebay. I'd even had a guy email me and put £1000 on it, but my misses had caught the same ibiza bug i had and said to me that she really didnt want to see it go becuase it was such a good one. So i took it off ebay, she then sold her 07 fiesta and brought the Ibiza off me ( for a special price of course )..To be honest it was the best move ever becuase the fiesta cost her £5.3k and she sold it for £5k....god knows what we would have got for it now in the credit crunch......bit of a storey for you there...sorry.
