Open to sensible offers, the mirrors cost me £70 + £20 for the carbon sheets to make the bases + around £12 for the bases themselves - so around £100 all in.

Make me a reasonable offer based on the costs above and I'll consider it.

Another one of my winter mods, I have just received this today - OMP WRC steering wheel in black suede, feels amazing in the hands and is very grippy. The boss kit comes with a built in resistor to turn the airbag light off, can't wait to fit it! :D

I'll be selling my Golf Mk4 R32 steering wheel in the new year.

I am thinking of fitting the OMP Design 2 seats as well and not bothering with any more turbo upgrades.

It will never end!!!!!!!!!!

I just got a new BAM inlet manifold from Backdraft, not sure what to do now, fit it and sell the SEM to help fund a bigger turbo, or keep them SEM and wait 6 months.

I don't think the SEM is making me any extra horsepower as the GT2X isn't a big turbo, although there are no real downsides with the SEM/GT2X combo, but I'd get far more gains going bigger turbo on the BAM manifold?

The extra fueling Rob must mean more air into the engine which must mean more power, or don't you agree. Be sure to log max maff air flow readings before you replace SEM to compare with Bam intake.

to be honest Rob, I think you are flogging a dead horse as yours and mine gt2x are at their limits. the manifold not being the restriction here, but the turbo in this case

but hes already said he selling due to funds....not a problem with sem

I would have thought the SEM better than the BAM....look forward to seeing the results

personally I would wait 6 months, keep the SEM on until he goes BT

Ideally I'd have both yes, but if I sell the SEM and my turbo, mani, dp, etc. I'll have enough for a BT kit, even running the BAM inlet it should still give me 325+bhp.

Patience is not my biggest virtue, I know I should keep the SEM until funds allow BT but the thought of going BT sooner is very appealing - lol!

I need to find out what my car is making now, so when it goes in for the baffled sump fitting and oil change, I'll have Star do a dyno run to find out, if the figures are a let-down, I'll go BT and sell the SEM.

Not really, but the GT2860RS with 0.84AR sounds the most appealing to me, I'd have Star map it to around 340/320 until I got rods then crank it up a bit, Backdraft say at 1.4 BAR it makes 360bhp.

Not going to think about it until Issam has released details of his turbo kits and go from there.

what is happening with those turbo kits....taking forever:(

mind you it is christmas now, so we wont see anything to the new year

what peak power does it make 360 at?

1st of Jan my friend, Issam will be releasing details, that's next week!

BDM quote: "350 bhp at 6500 rpm with an increase in torque from 206 ft lb to 328 ft lb at 5030 rpm."

thats some nice figures, with a quick spool as well:D
