just fitted ramair induction and a light has come on!!

could it be the breather pipe you mean? That's the only thing I can think of that's attached to the top of the airbox.......usually put a small filter on it if you replace the airbox with an induction kit.....

The red one is for low brake pad warning, the one with the arrow is because your traction control is turned off.....I would hazard a guess that the engine light is on because of having the MAF unplugged a while but someone else may know better......

if youve run the car with the maf unconnected or hanging around then its more than likely that. make sure you know your radio code first.. but you could try disconnecting the battery for 10mins. it may clear the ecu

the red one is because i have the hand brake on! the other explantion mark yellow one isnt to do with the TC because i keep pressing the traction control button and its not going away or flashing etc. will unplugging the battery work?? i do know the radio code.
cheers

probably means you have a fault with your TC then as that IS the TC light.

i think mafs causing both lights (no idea why it flags tc  but if memory serves it should fix both)

if disconnecting does`nt work you need vagcom software to clear the faults but im pretty sure the battery should work.

cmon mate .... user error rather than car error;)

it thought your maf had died and was urgently trying to send you for repair... clever little sausage that she is.

just to clarify.. you took out the black stock air box, including the maf pipe unclipping the electrical connection and leaving it free?
youve now taken the maf pipe off the old airbox fitted it as you describe and plugged the electrical connector back in?

youd get a code which relates to a sensor. useful bit of kit.

have a good look around where youve been working.. have you knocked anything?
