One way is to drill some holes / vents in the wheel arch liner to allow better air flow over the std IC.

you have a leak somewhere then mate, not heat soak. code 17705, know it well,

change the dv an search for a split pipe somewhere.

nope, if you have got a better dv dont bother, it will be a split hose, had this on my missus golf for 9 months, found 2 plit pipes, both oil breather pipes and a split TIP, all sorted now though.

all pipes mate, its no not the maf,

check the pipe that goes from your turbo to the filter, any oil breather pipes as they slit. just any vacum pipes, spend a day having a good look around.

you can check the dv pipes but i dont think it will be them.

right i checked the d.v first took it off pushed the piston up and down played around with the setting and put it back on but done the pipes up tight and really pushed the vacum pipe on(whilst slicing a hole in my hand with the screwdriver).... just drove to work and it was boosting all the way and i was hammering it ;)(70) and also after all of that the mpg was about 27. when it would normally be about 24 about a week ago if i drove like that!!!!

1... hoses not on corectly
2... d.v sticking
