please help!!!!!!

please help me guys, i have installed a uni chip in my seat leon FR 2008 model with the 2.0tfsi engine. after installing the chip i got the check engine light and yesterday i did a dignaostic using the vag-com and got the following errors.

can anyone help me what to do. i have cleared the errors using the software and the check engine didnt come up again. so please instruct me what to do.
what does these errors mean and is there a place where it tells u which errors and what is causing it.

have you uprated your exhaust?

been fitting anything in the engine bay?

i havent installed any thing except the Uni Chip its a peggy chip for the ecu.

well to be honest it looks like its causing alot of problems maybe get if off and see if they come up again may of been a coincidence

hi there just bought a lcr, about two weeks ago, loving it but, now the engine management light lit up and got the codes checked out and they are as follows. ( eoi = error occurs intermittently and swg = short with ground)

17524 O2 heater circuit bank 1
17511 O2 heater circuit bank 1 capacity too low
17833 tank ventilation valve short with ground (swg) eoi
17525 02 heater circuit bank 1 swg eoi
17953 control valve boost pressure swg eoi
17938 camshaft adjustment swg
17697 valve turbo swg eoi
17863 exhuast gas trap sensor not a plausble signal eoi.


im no mechanic but im pretty sure this isnt right, because im new to this car can anyone shed some light as to what may be casuing them and how urgent they are. i have just bought it for 10,000 private so am a bit skint. just to mention the car has been remapped by jabba sport, bfore i bought it and the only thing i have done since owning it is fit an alarm which is quite a complicted one s with full closure and etc. i do have an aftermarket exhuast blue flame i think and a forge dump valve 007. much appreciated. am i ruining it if drive it. How much am i looking at to fix it .....i am gutted

Hi,

My traction control light comes on and stays on after approximately 15 mins of driving (NB. this is not due to the TCS button being pressed!), so I took the car to a mechanic friend who plugged it into his Snap-on handheld diagnostic machine which returned just the one error code:-

18265 P1857 Load Signal Error Message from Engine Contr.

What does this actually mean?? Has his handheld device not worked correctly or does this actually indicate/identify a specific faulty item?

Can anyone help?

hi people id greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me what this fault code means.. my car went into crazy Hunting mode today, rough idling....had it VAGc'd and this came out

15556 _ (i glanced over the guys shoulder and it said something about too rich something like fuel systme) not sure

o also i got the 16514 code but looked on his thread and its the 02 sensor 1, im guessing thats the lambda probe 1 on the manifold..

I REALLY need guidance on this

my 1.820vt has brought up p1200-recirculatibng valve for turbocharger- n249:mechanical malfunction

p0300 random multiple cylinder misfire detected
p0302 clylinder 2 misfire detected..

swapped no 2 dis coil to number 4 and will give it a run later to see if it brings up no4 code and if it is indeed a dis coil pack...

anybody got any ideas?

just started runniong like **** last night.. still pretty standard too.. standard boost etc...
