running 10 psi?

had my car on the rollers at torque of the devil (dyno dynamics rollers) and my car reached 200.4 at the flywheel and 190lb/ft at 10 psi why is it running so low shouldnt they be 14 psi with a just a remap?, anyone with any help why it is running 4 psi left when my map should be atleast 14psi?

With a remap they should normally see 14psi. So its made 200bhp and only running 10psi???

Was that read on a boost gauge in your car or through a meter connected to the dyno? Just sounds a low boost level for a high horsepower.

I just noted though that you had added the figures, the torque seems a little low, mine used to hit 220ftlbs with just a remap on and 190bhp.

fit a boost gauge or log boost on vagcom to confirm values,
if it was running 10psi it wouldnt be 200bhp

The rollers said it was running 10psi and 200 bhp. They are meant to be the most accurate rollers out there.

yeah well 'most accurate' dont cut it. no dyno is 100%

most of the time cars dont even hit 200 without an fmic, and those tha do usually have alot more mods and will be running well, thats 15-21psi on a spike. plus if torque was down then power would relate...thats just physics


it really all depends on where it produced 10psi... if that was the max it hit then somethings wrong

They are the best rollers out there, thats why we went there, it was 10 psi max boost mate, and i do have a FMIC, ill upload the graph tommorow so you can see.

sorry when u said just a remap in the first post i figured thats all you had.

what fmic is it? notice u got k03s aswell, i'd still confirm the boost, dont be so trust worthy lol dyno's are only as good as the operator.

and if you find it is only producing 10psi then then the logs will give you a good indication of what is the problem

yeah could be, or n112, n75, maf or just a split vacuum hose

could be anything really

or it could be that the dyno didnt measure it correctly

just get it on vagcom if you have your own and log
