To save hijacking another thread, Chris here's a couple of photo's of my Leon FR 170 which has had the top done in black.

The black roof suits the white car more than the red car.

Both those cars looks goofy with the square plate IMO

Also the black bonnet is just too much on the red one.

It would be good to see it done on a car without the Aero bumpers.

Yeah as I said in another thread I parked up in Star City the other week. When I came out another White Leon with a black roof was parked next to me. From a comment he made as i was driving off I think he'd used vinyl to cover the roof.

Can I be rude and ask you how much it cost to get the roof sprayed?

I'm sorry mate I can't help you. I bought the car with the roof already done. It was the managers leon / demo car from a seat dealer near me.

being honest dude i got it done quite cheaply as it was one of my friends who owns his own sign shop that done it so it was mates rates

What colour of black is the roof painted with? Is it flat, metallic, single stage or clear coated?

I would think flat black with clear coat?

I think it looks better done on cars without the sunroof.........but still like it alot. Mine has a sunroof too btw.

i used Gloss Black Car Vinyl guaranteed for 10 yrs... mates rates but ormal price in SA equates to about 75 pounds.
