lol the mk2 Golf theme here...

i had a mk2 golf driver, fixed everything but the carb, eventually sold it and was carless. i only searched for VW's really never even thought of a Seat Ibiza. but then i saw a silver 95 N Reg 2L 8v Gti. one drive in it and the £1k was paid. loved it to bits. a guy from work had a valver, so when he said he was selling it, i had to have it.

i also got another mk2 golf these days lol

After passing my test I inherited the family Skoda Favorit estate after we purchased a brand new Alhambra, the skoda was only a tempoary thing and after taking a shine to a mk2 cupra sport in the showroom the same time as buying I wanted a mk2. So after abit of searching I eventually found a nice 3 door mk2 SXE and bought that, did it up and after 5 years of ownership I yearned for somthing quicker and sold the Ibiza to a friend and bought the Cordoba SX.

Did the cordy up to the point its not practical as a daily runner and bought a mk3 golf and sold that and bought m0rks mk2 GTi to replace the golf

Still miss the sxe and was saddened when my friend crashed it and was then written off:(

Got my apprenticeship in Fords but 4 years ago and thought it was time to get a new car. Wanted a Astra 2.2 SRi...... brought the Auto Trader and randomly opened it up and saw this snot colour stand out!

Remembered I use to love this colour car when it was used for rallying and I use to have a model car of it that I always played with hehe. So rung them up, went to see it that evening and ended up putting some money down on it till my loan came thru the week later.

And now I have a Mk4 Fiesta to run back and fore work and something a bit cheaper on fuel! Plus it's my only form of transport till the snot machine is back :)

i've always wanted a CRX-not the del sol-but the original and best old CRX (i always end up with manly cars :p )how did you end up with yours?

We used to have a crx (not the del slow lol). 1.6 vtec. Lovely car, always got looks and was a lovely drive, especially when vtect kicked in. Was gutted when i sold it. Bought an Intergra type R to replace but reckon the CRX was more fun.
As for the ibiza, saw one advertised in the local paper. Id just passed my test and i thought they looked nice. Plus it was different to the civics/clio/puntos that my mates had. Got the 1.4 salsa, had it for just over a year and then bought the cupra. Originally planned to keep to keep her for a year and then change, but i got too attached

I wasn't even aware of them really. Just went looking around local car dealers and saw a yellow GTi and really liked the look of them. Took one out for a test drive and decided that I had to get one. Took ages to find mine but really glad I got it.

My story starts with VW, I had a MK2 Polo for my first car, but sadly rust got the better of her and i started looking for a MK4 Polo 1.6 but they were still highly priced then and high miled. I already knew SEAT were similar to VW and so when one day on my way home from uni i saw an alpine white 1.4 for sale i stopped and had a look. A week later i owned it. The 1.4 was great but i'd always wanted a golf GTi and started to look for a new car about a year later.

I couldnt afford a golf and i found SCN at the same time, and i also found an immaculate tornado red MK2 GTi for sale here that was located in cardiff. Not even thinking i skipped work and went down the next day with the cash and came back with it! I then sold the white 1.4 and loved the GTi to bits, it was my little baby, until 6 months later at my first proper SCN meet she got rear ended and written off. Nothing can describe how gutted i was!

Next up i finally got my MK4 polo!!!!! I had her 5 months before i needed more power and on the night of my birthday i called off the celebrations to go and buy the Cordy! She was the best drivers car i've ever had and looked fastastic! Unfortunatley buying a house meant i could no longer afford to keep her and the girlfriend wanted her gone as she was costing a lot to run :(

I was about to just get rid of the girlfriend over the car (obviously), when i spotted my current low mileage GTi on Ebay. I made a compromise with the mrs and went to put a deposit on her the next day. Now had her 3 months and i'm back in love, but i want this one to go on a positive and move onto something newer and more upto date next year. The GTi will have to go to a SCN member that will have to sign an oath to look after her, OR it may just be going to my girlfriend who to has fallen in love with it! :D

I’ve always had different cars from the norm and after my primera started to play up i decided to go for something newer.
So still being very young i was looking for a fast car that was cheap to insure someone mentioned the Leon so after looking on the net i went to my local dealers. I wanted a 1.8 20v Leon but found a Toledo the sales man said I wouldn’t find a Leon for love nor money as they weren’t a popular option what with the cupra so I looked at some dervs and bought the tolly.
When my first child was on the way I needed a car with no front air bag so traded the tolly in for a 206 and my red 8v bezza which I kept till I turned 25 then traded that in for my Leon cupra (now that I could afford the insurance).
That got sold due to the fact I needed to trade the wife’s car in for a big derv so we could tow the caravan.
Now we are up to date where 3 months ago I bought my cordy off of Paul my thoughts were I liked the bezza so I looked for a 16valver (trying to keep some of the power of the Leon) but saw the cordy was for sale and knew some of its history from Paul and us both being on cupra net. It was almost like fate so I bought it
