yep think i'll be giving the old silver rings a miss at that price. like you say in this class they should really be supplied as standard anyway or maybe £30 at a push.

I would also look at what you might want in the future as some stuff is hard to retrofit.

Stuff like the iPod connector can I think be fairly easy to add, although the location in the car would probably need to be different.

There is some debate as to whether or not it is legal to retrofit HIDS in the U.K so I would opt for these upfront.

I think the bluetooth is possible although a pain. As said it give much more than just bluetooth.

A few people have retrofitted the sat nav and think that's fairly straight forward.

A dealer can easily do parking sensors too.

I wouldn't say bixenons are essential.... but then i have a non essential SatNav....

What I wish had got factory done - Sun Roof (think i can get it done by a dealer though if i want)

What Im glad I got done at the factory - Bluetooth

What I wouldnt have bothered with at the factory - iPod

What Im glad I didn't bother with at the factory - 18" option (I wanted something different anyway)
SatNav (cos I got it for half the price)

If I was in your position just work out what you really want, what would be nice and what you can afford.... then see what you can get for the money.

I fitted a Black front centre grille on mine as opposed to the original chrome one and a honeycomb grille behind it.Think it looks cool on Zenith grey car.Also got centre armrest from Seremotors and some more FR badges for each wing,original parts.

dont think so dave.
options=factory fit
accesories=dealer fit.

for me; bluetooth, sunroof, convenience, rear parking sensors, sat nav and mud flaps

Dealer quoted me for fitting a sunroof, not sure how it would compare with the factory one but they said it would close with the keyfob etc... dealer can also fit the parking sensors even though they are an option.

What are the seats like on an FR when you have them in leather?

Like this and very comfy and supportive

Can you still use the cup holders with the armrest. I have to have my morning coffee on the way to work!

My car came with everything listed in my sig. If I was buying fresh I would definatley have:

Bluetooth - Great for any phone, sometimes a little hard to be heard on the motorway but other than that a godsend
Con pack - I now couldn't live without auto lights and wipers and auto dipping rear view mirror!
18's just finish of the car IMO

Wouldn't buy:

Ipod connector. Would prefer USB or Aux in I think

Would have loved

Sunroof
Bi-xenons
Leather

But lets face it we can't have everything can we?

One other thing which I couldn't live without out is the steering wheel controls. Its amazing how much you miss them when driving other cars and I love the shape of the steering wheel (lumpy bits in just the right places!)
