Fair play if that is your experience. I know someone with the same engine in a Golf and the money it cost to do gave minimal power/torque gains (single figure gains for both). Drivability may well improve significantly where increase in performance does not, but knowing how an unmolested variant of the car drives, I don't personally see the need. And my mate wishes he spent the money on something else by the way.

You really need a turbo charged engine for remapping or chipping to make a difference.

They can do, but my g/f's car does not have this.

fitted some white gauges the other day so here they are:

just removed the sound proofing from under my bonnet

i did it for two reasons 1. it looks alot better and even tho its no show car theres no harm in improving asthetics and 2. its only a 1.6 so i need all the engine noise i can get

ive redone my front 'S' badge and grill all black rather than black and red (see previous post) and also been to pick up my aero wiper conversion from vw today aswell so ive fitted them

well my cars finally gone for a colour code got a great deal from a local guy who is doing it for 70 getting it back sunday so ill post some pics

well ive finally got my car back from the painter and i think it look awesome

all i have to do know if wait for some decent weather to fit my lcr splitter as you can see in the pics it aint brilliant today

very easy really....did have to do abit of cutting to get them how i wanted as the indicators, warning lights and full beam light are pathetic on the white ones so i cut them out and fitted the old ones in behind them

and got them from ebay for about a tenner i think if you get them and have any problems just pm me mate
