Does anyone find the seats in their FR uncomfortable ?

I drive 300 mile journeys regularly and keep getting a stiff lower back.

My dad has a Toledo stylance with sport pack, and the seats in that are much more comfortable that my FR seats.

Cheers
JJ

I love the seats in my FR.. Nice and hugging and firm with a decent amount of support. :) I spend a fair bit of time in my car while at work and have never had any problems..

Perhaps you need to adjust it a bit?

I have come from 2 vxr`s previously, and the recaro`s in them are much more comfortable for sure ... They are not very supportive for sports seats, and the bolsters are starting to get wrinkled after 12000 miles ..

I really like the FR seats and find them very comfy, but then I don't do very long journeys often, mostly 30 mins or less.

I too like the seats in the FR!
I do 110miles a day in them and had no probems, had a clio before hand and used to get back ache all the time, all thats stop since i got the leon.

Only thing i can say is perhaps you're not set up right, ie steering wheel reach, recline, lumber and height?

I've been well impressed with the FR seats. Came from an RX8 with leather pack and find them alot more comfty. Did take quite a bit of adjusting to get right though.. and more every time the other half uses it!

I do big mileage for work in the FR all year and I love them. Was driving a Jetta and Passat before the FR and after 2.5hr in the Jetta lower back and left leg in pain. Passat no problem at all and the FR the same only better hugging for those fun bends;)

Hope you get it adjusted to suit you. Keep playing because they are very good seats imho.

I'm 6'4" and i have the seat as far back as it goes and the steering wheel as far out as it goes and as low down as it goes.... and its comfy as anything, never had any back pain.

It does seem to be stiffer than appropriate, thus not helping out on those speed bumps and pot holes (or worse, bad B-roads). They're so stiff you keep bouncing on them, when they should just absorb the anomaly instead.

Have you tried using the back support? This can work when your back aches.

OT: The best car seats I've ever sat in were the Clio MkI 16v (and Williams) ones. They are soft, elegant and big, and yet hug you like Cameron Diaz would if you were hung. I can only guess though.

So far (only 1,000 miles in) they seem fine to me, very supportive and comfy at the same time..................
