Im a shortarse and am always having to mess about with backrest angle depending on which coat I have on, seat height depending on which shoes I have on and the rear view mirror all the time. Really doesnt bother me tho as I love the car so much :D Working at a dealership I realised that most cars are basically flawed one way or another

I absolutely love the FR seats, when i got them adjusted to the perfect position they really are comfortable

I'm sure they must be, but I've had my FR for 9 months now, and I still haven't found that position.

I'm of average height (5'10"), and, AFAIK, my limbs are averagely proportioned, yet with the steering wheel as far out as it will go to allow me to hold it comfortably, my knees are bent and knocking against the wheel surround. Getting my legs and knees comfortable means that my arms are fully extended making it difficult to control easily. And, before you say it, I don't have the back of the seat fully reclined. If anything, that's too far forward as well.

Do all Spanish people (or Seat drivers) have short, stumpy legs, or long, gangly arms?

maybe you just have a bad lower back? may be caused from other things? desk at work? your bed? could be a number of reasons really? or like others have said you just need to find the right adjustment to make your lower back more supported.

Ive done getting on for 10,000 mls in my Mk2 FR and find the seats to be very comfortable and supportive with loads of adjustment, can't fault them.

Funny you should comment on this we have two TDI Frs and there is about 6 months difference in build dates [both 56 plates] but the early build has softer seating than the later build ???!!! and yes the earlier build IS more comfortable to drive - I would not have picked this up otherwise!!
