Another day just disappeared whilst working on the car. Today I redid my engine and battery cover and then polished up the inlet manifold.

Here my the balls up of an engine cover

And i know why they cracked last time... Because they did it again even before I put them back on the car... Its the shitty lacquer

Im going to have to redo them all on thus before ED38.. What a waste of time..

Ok, now on the inlet manifold, here is is after the sanding process, 80 -> 240 -> 240(wet) 400(wet) -> 1000(wet) -> 1500(wet)

There is some hazing that I will have to go back to 240 to get rid off... But after the **** up with the covers and having to now buy more paint I can’t be assed to do it now!!! Ill be fitting it tomorrow, just need to pop to seat to get a gasket.

Also another f**king **** up is the bolt that holds my lower engine cover has rounded.... So i'm going to have to drill that out before i can paint it.

Ill redo the engine covers on Thursday and fit the dog bone mount!!

I need to pick some wheels!!!! And that stage 2 revo is looking awfully tempting :)

really like this car, the polishing lark gets addictive, soon you'll be looking for bits to polish to a shine lol.

hey bud,

just another quickie, seen as your so low have you kept the **** sheild in the arch, or removed them?? for issues with rubbing???

mate why so melodramatic? ANd that with such a beautifull car. That is one of the nicest lcr's I have seen yet.
