Got the Cupra pillars today....fitted passenger side one just to see how bad it'd look against the white headlining.....it's not TOO bad if you're sat in the front seats cos you can only really see the pillars if you're looking out the window. But Cupra headlining may be needed in time.

It makes the interior look a lot darker from the outside though!

Fitted boost gauge today! :D

All smiles....I love it! :D

Boost seems to peak at about 27psi but then level out to just over 20 when "progressing well." Pulls at about 10psi just pulling at 30mph up a hill. It's really intersesting to watch actually! It moves so much (obviously).

Will post pics later when I have more time.

Was the wiring easy enough to do? Where did you run the boost pipe through the dash and bulkhead into the engine bay?

Yeh it was easy! One off the headunit - one to earth. That's it.

And I ran the boost pipe from the IC piping on the drivers side - across the engine bay to the passenger side, then through the two rubber grommets in the top right of the engine bay - into the car behind the glovebox and behind the dash, up the pillar and to the gauge! :D

It took about 4 hours I suppose but that included going to the hairdressers and going into town to get some more washer pipe! The fiddliest bit was making it neat and tidy and keeping the pipes out the way under the bay.

Nice one! Does your gauge light up red to match the dash?

And a little video to show you all the colours! You can change it to any of these colours individually, or have it flick through them all, or fade into them all.

yeah i like it to! glad all went well for ya mate! i want another boost gauge and that is temptong putting t where yours is! how much were the black pillar bits?

The Cupra pillars were just over £20 for the pair. The gauge pod was £25 delivered. The thing is you can only get the single one in black. You can get a double gauge A pillar pod in the grey colour that the pillars are in standard Ibiza's but that was £48.99 and I only wanted one gauge, not two.

Just a wee vid to demo it - the weird noises later in the video are the windows going down.

0 boost is about where 10 o clock would be.....where it seems to be a lot of the time.

But when it flies right round - that's flat. Over 20psi of boost. But when driving normally it moves about all the time! :D Not just straight over and straight back as i have done tonight.

Nice mate! Seriously considering this now! - After I fit my HIDs ofcourse! :D

I wish I'd taken a bit more "civilised" video to show it moving properly and not just flat, then off....the start of the video is the best bit when you can see it going up to 10psi and stuff.....

You get the idea though
