as you can tell, looks loads better than the normal milltek oval one. I went to Milltek direct and they made the cat back up whilst i was there....
Very tidy indeed.
Unfortunately I doubt I'd be able to get that tip over here in Northern Ireland if you had to get it specially made up.

Wait till you get the down pipe and race cat on there matey..... its like getting the car re mapped all over again.... throttle responce and pick up is so quick
the oe stuff is so restrictive....On a seperate note, i turned my boost settings up yesterday and it was an animal

Didn't get chance to hear the Milltek yesterday mate. Good meet though - now back to topic.
Fitted my Forge TIP today and what a pig of a job. Had to take the rubber top part off the oe tip to be able to turn the the metal part into the bulkhead so that it would pass a hard water pipe just to remove it ![[:@]](/forums/styles/seatcupra/oldforumsmileys/furious.gif "Furious [:@]")
Then I had to cut off about 2" of the Forge TIP so it would pass the same water pipe. All in all it was a VERY tight fit.
Results: Wall the turbo spool is so loud now and the dv sounds louder and seams a little smoother. Although I have only drove it about 2 miles so must do some more testing

Can you not get a Forge TIP for the derv? If so yours would be even louder as derv's run higher boost.
Not that I know of....dervs dont have a dump valve so that'd need blanking - unless they make a seperate TIP....

i got mine fitted when i was away on holiday at my porsche speacialists...... they did that, fitted new oe pads on the front, another bargain at £44+vat and a 10k service for £80
AFAIK they didnt have to cut anything off it though......
As for loud derv spool up...... full milltek system and a hybrid turbo and it will spool really loud thats from someone who knew

I have a full custom made exhaust, decat with small backbox only, it is quite loud turbo atm but you can never get too loud really.
It's a lot louder than my parents 08 plate FR.

If I do go for the Milltek it'll be the non-resonated as I'd like to keep it as quite as poss. Might even go custom exhaust tho.
