I'd rather have it quiter as I leave for work at either 4.45 or 5.45am and park the car in a back lane on nights so would wake the whole street. I dont minde a bit of noise but I'd rather have it as quite as pos.

Got a chance to test the car properly after the TIP install on the way home from work last night . Think I'm addicted to the sound of the spool and dv now.

Just been messing with some of the logs that I done with Dave (DPJ) just to show how its boosting.
And this was before smoothing the airbox and fitting the Forge TIP.

Told you it made alot of difference :) deffo worth the money imho

That little graph is before the TIP was fitted.

I still cant get vag-com working so I'm gone buy another cable and see if that works. If not I'll have to see if I can get someone to do some logs for me (please Dave :)).

It will be interesting to compare the before and after results.

Hopefully the boost should hold a little stronger higher up the rev renge and I should get a few more g/s when I get to compare them.

Comparison of MAF reading before and after fitting the Forge TIP.
MAF readings are much smoother with Forge TIP but still low readings!
Might try a large open cone filter to try and bring them up a little

cheers for the stubby aerial link!!

did you notice any performance gains from getting the Forge TIP?? looked at getting one of them a while ago, but when i rung up to order it they said they didnt do one for the mk4 cupra? you got a link to the one you got as i can only find one for the FR....unless that is the one you got???

yeah its just for the mk4 ibiza 20vt engine, as they both have the same setup.... only different air intakes.... deffinately better imho and make throttle a bit quicker too, spool up is louder which is all good :)

Damogen..... as for being in limp mode..... not sure, bit of a strange one imho.... you tried disconnecting the battery and doing a throttle body realignment?

Cupra Jay - as Dan said the Forge TIP for the FR is the same as the one for cupra. Give DPM a shout as he offered me a good deal.

Dan - Yea, I tryed doing a ECU reset with no luck. I'm now thinking it might be a goosed N75. It gives me full boost now and again. Yesterday it seamed like limp mode (only 5psi) but now It will give me more boost (10psi ish) but only higher up the rev range, loke 4k ish. I'm meeting up with DPJ tomorrow to get vag-com on it as I cant get it working on my laptop with vista.
