I've got a wheel sitting in the shed that i need to get painted up for a spare. I'm hoping to make the boot space look fancy or just get the carpet from a Mk3 Cupra R as they have a raised section to make way for the wider wheel, then i'll ditch the space saver.
Nah i like the look of the 16v badge on the front. Gives people a bit of a surprise too

I thought about that. I was going to remove the spare and mount the battery in there when i did the relocation. I know as soon as i removed it i'd get a puncture that wasn't repairable so i decided against it.
I want the Super T as a spare just incase i get a puncture on the front, as space savers aren't Brembo friendly and i can't be bothered swapping wheels from front to back!

Got a little picture of it on the way hame from Brands a few weekends ago, abit dirty and it looks like it's riding a bit high.
It'll be getting the trackrods and ball joints done at the end of the month fingers crossed!

dont look dirty to me, front looks a little higher than normal, but that must be due to the way its sat on the uneven surface

It's got Neuspeed ARB's front and rear, the front wishbones are polybushed, and Spax springs and shocks. It seems really wallowy (if that's a word) compared with Ben's. So, the plan is to get the trackrods, trackrod ends and ball joints replaced, get some decent coilovers and get it 4 wheel aligned and the camber adjusted professionally. Hopefully that will make a difference, then i'll get a diff.

And i still don't think mine handles aswell as that old 8v did, there was deffinatly something about that car
