You'll find those connections a pain to hook up as the hose has to be bend upwards and you can never get the tank high enough to be able to get a soft bend.

Connections that are at 90° to the tank are easier to fit imo.

Cheers Phil - have you just put some at the top of your tank then above the fluid level so to speak?

Also, I've managed to acquire some 18mm braided blue hose free of charge - will this fit at a push? Seems a shame to fork out £30+ unnecessarily if I can get this stuff on

Just stuff the whole can when you get it, and regularly empty it. Its gonna be a tight fit to get 18mm on it, but i think it will go on.

What size is the 90 degree elbow coming off the crank case (is it a reducer or just straight)

might aswell replace it whilst im doing the catch tank!!

Has anybody come up with an alternative to sleaving the joins or is that the only option??

is there anything you can do to stop the hose going green???

And is it easy to bung the standard tip as i dont have a gorge one yet???

sorry for all the q's just want to get it right

Having researched these baffled tanks a bit more, surely they only offer any advantage when you keep the PCV system and recirculate the outlet to the intake?

Otherwise, without the PCV there's no risk of sucking the vapour back into the inlet mani and it can only escape out the breather

Could try www.hosesolutions.co.uk not sure if there any cheaper tho.

2m will be enough if you decide to route your breather pipe down to the driversside like alot of us have, depending on the kind of tank you have.

just wondering if i cant get away with any less!! than 2 meters as its not cheap

does the breather need to go down the drivers side???
