Just to add to this - fitted my catch tank the other night and for those of you (like me) who are not prepared to part with £30 for a metre of superflex silicone hose you can use the standard pipe that goes from the metal t-piece to the pressure regulator (mushroom valve) on the TIP.
By pure fluke, I chopped a small length off to patch up the pipe where I removed the PCV valve under the inlet mani and the remaining hose was exactly the right length and shape to go from the t-piece over to my inlet on the catch tank
May not be the most bling solution but it'll certainly do for me - I'll upload a pic later
you need to lose the pressure regulator (mushroom valve)....not needed if done properly
you dont want anything to do with the catch tank in the tip as realy part of the idear is to stop all the cack est venting into the tip......mabie i may have misunderstood you
yes, but for me, removing the PCV system does not look like an easy job to do, so will be keeping this in place, until someone on here can help me remove it one day
Its not the easiest thing to do i admit and be prepared to lose some skin, i just used a sharp blade and cut either side of it and removed it that way. Quite fidderly to insert the new bit of pipe and jubilee clips but perfectly do able.
By far the easiest way of doing it is to remove the inlet manifold.
