Thanx, I think i'll go for 16s then, my area is full of pot holes, deep drains and speed bumps, comfort is a must.

Wheels thieved

hey guys can't believe my luck unfortunately it's all bad, got a speeding ticket from a mobile police camera on my way to picking up my news rims and tyres in Notts, guy fitted them for nothing, but stopped at a restaurant in a part of the city, I didn't know great came out n my beezer was on bricks , suppose it's my fault as I didn't know the area too well but still can't get worse than that....

Speaking of locking wheel nuts....

I want to get rear spacers to go with my new wheels, but most spacers require longer bolts, so is it possible to get longer locking wheel nuts that fit with the spacers or do you have to get the spacers that bolt on to the hub and then the wheels bolt onto the spacers if you know what I mean?

I'm sure you can get longer locking wheel nuts... Have a look around there's BOUND to be some somewhere!

Or you could go with the spacers that bolt onto the hub, like I have, much easier to put the wheels back on again.

well i think i will be sticking with my front bumper now. i actually like it, yes i like the cupra one more, but since i have my custome driving lights etc, i dunno if i want to get rid of it lol.

so in less than a weeks time it will have:
side skirts, painted and fitted
cupra spoiler painted and fitted
bumpers colour coded.

Then im getting it detailed the weekend before ED38 so it will look amazing for the show :D:D:D:D

Yeh the Cupra bumpers nice, but they seem quite hard to get.

Having said that I think my wee bumper mod looks pretty good lol.

It's all about doing the best with what you've got!

Lower :-o lol, mines still standard height and I managed to scrape the splitter off a car park kerb today!

well if you look at the 1st and 2nd pic, my splitter was eating up the floor. and thats just at my work... i cant get around multi story car parks any more and speed bumps are dangerous too...

but it looks soo good!!!!

You should get patent rights on your wee mod ;) lol

Adam have you got surplus splitters or something? If so I will take a few off your hands as I seem to be attracted to dead animals in the middle of the road!

buy em from the dealer at £20 a pop. i got a new one today because my splitter ate a squirrel this morning (i knew my car was hungry but not to that extent). need to replace the splitter due to the amount of blood etc on it
