which means for the same initial valve lift the flow can start around the whole head of the intake valves/ex valves so flow is increased. 5v in a small combustion chamber makes for some crowding of the cyl walls
what boost do you want to run!?
I'm junking the VF34 and replacing it with a 16 or 18G from Blouch. I'm guessing I'll be running something like 1.5bar with it.
I've just read on a few forums that the standard compression is recommended for a street car with a medium sized turbo. Lower compression is more for very high boost and lowers volumetric efficiency. Net result is a drop in low end torque and later spool. Mine is used on the street and some drag runs so I want to keep the low end torque. A nice flat torque curve etc.
I'm thinking an overbore with standard compression is the way to go for me now.
Thoughts?
Just an awesome thread on explaing things..
So basically could I k04 or ihi my ibiza cupra with 137k miles on the engine...But do the genral maintance like cambelt,water/oil pump ect?

Sorry to thread high jack
thanks
I'm sure you'll be doing it and have just missed this out as its not important but...These threads tend to go all over the place, but ultimately it's all good info.....usually
