Cheers Phil. I was going to go down the polished route but as my daily driver, it gets dirty quickly. I'm well happy with the black though.

I nearly ordered one of those the other day! I'll keep an eye out for the thread later!:)

The pics don't do the engine bay justice

Looks so much better in the flesh, and to think you we're going to sell it 6 months ago and buy a golf!!

Yeah i know! What a mistake that would of been!!!

Cheers dude, i'm happy with the engine bay now. I've still got to sort a few little bits out but all's good!

It's all your fault!

I need to get saving for bits. The list is endless!!

Track rods, track rod ends, coilovers, diff, cage, buckets, etc, etc....

Hahaha

All goes back to the days of the kiwi warrior, if you'd never seen that you wouldn't have wanted a Seat

You'll want more power by the time you've done all that aswell, trust me!!

Yup! It was seeing that and Wellers 8v that made me want one!

If i can't find a Rockingham cage i'm hoping James might pull through on this custom one, depending how well it goes in the other Golf obviously!

Handling is first on the list though!

I don't have any pictures on my intercooler install. If you look at Roly's thread, i think he took progress pictures when fitting his.

too bad.. is it possible to give me some details about this intercooler? dimensions and if you know for how much horsepower is it ok? the radiators for the engine and the clima are working in your car?

The intercooler is from a renault laguna. The radiator had to be moved back ever so slightly but the intercooler is pretty slim so fitted it fine after. Probably best to search ebay for dimensions but it only just fits between the chassis legs.

Not really sure about bhp figures. Mine's runnig around 230bhp and it's fine. Ben with the red Mk2 20vt has just gone K04 around 280bhp and he thinks it's struggling with the power. Radiators are fine but i ditched the air-con.

Hope this helps!

Laguna fmic on a 3071? lol, i doubt it would flow that much.

Why you spending all that money on a turbo setup like that and "cheaping" out on a fmic beats the life outta me.

Theres always water/meth i guess.

Today i cleaned 10 years of dirt out of the front arches. Looks much better:) also managed to clean the overspray off that the bodyshop left everywhere.

Before:

Without arch liner:

And with:

Got both the fronts done today and i'm going to clean the rears tomorrow, and hopefully tackle the rusting arch problem is the weather is okay. Didn't really do the shocks as i'm hopefully going to get coilovers on payday.

Also picked up some Poly exhaust mounts as mine are stretched and booked in for tomorrow to get my two stone chips in the screen sorted.
