Well, not so much hush hush - more of show car. So don't wanna spoil the surprise. Let's just say:

Mk2 Ibiza
R32 lump
Slammed
White

The grey roof will look like its dirty mate - stick to gloss black roof/spoiler on a bright red car and gloss black mirrors!

Wheels will look fine as they are - leave them grey, gives a nice contrast.

R32 lump - need brake upgrade and an awful lot of money to convert it to 4WD!

Stick to a VR6 from a Corrado/Golf MK3 - simple for FWD.

Handles are now staying, looking into it theres too much hassle to remove them and change keys etc.

Just getting colour coded ones with blanked over locks

Mirror base plates will be gloss black with red mirror covers, but gloss black ones are spares
Rub strippes are definately going though, dont see many ibiza's with them removed so worth it!

Maybe a new exhaust when this is all done


PS also looking into a retrim or new seats

Really like the TT's espec in that colour, sets the car off nicely espec with with it being lowered

If so where did you get them from?

they look to be the smoked ones....(personally im not a fan)

Yeah they are like the standard ones except they have a black background and white bulbs, just got them to match the black else where

Got them off ebay for next to nothing.

There is LED ones and chromed back ones out there too

Dont change the style.

Colour code with the wheels or Carbon effect covers.

Yeah the style'd ones do look a little chav, and would be too much hassle!

Carbon effect does look good (as seen on dario's)


Just need to get quote on colour coding them, as the carbon ones are £100
If i do them red, the side strips will be done at same time. If done grey, the sidestrips will come later

If/when you come to colour coding/replacing your door handles, could you put up a few photo's of how you dismantled it all?
I keep meaning to colour code my handles and side strips but I'd rather read up first!

Are you aware that there's a groove and holes under the rub strips? There would be a fair bit of bodywork repairs involved if you wanted to leave them off rather than just colour coding new ones. Not saying it shouldn't/couldn't be done, just that it's not just a case of pulling off the old ones.

yeah will definatly take 'during' pictures when i do them

jtonline- yeah i know lots of work is needed as they are sunk in style, to colour code them it is easier to get new ones from the dealers and colour them. Then fit them
But to remove them you need to take them all of, then alot of filler/smoothing done

would i just search for seat ibiza mk4 repeaters or is there something specific i need to type in?
