D'OH! What can i say, Tommy is just too good, never expected it was already installed...

As for the clips i think its down to how good the moulding is on the plastic facia, but the clips hold onto all 9 of the plastic bits sticking out of the back much like the original ones on the CD player.

i have a 03/2006 leon 2.0 tfsi sport up with steering wheel control

things to buy:

Seat navi fascia:

clips and screws:
9 pieces 3B0 867 190 (clips for the front frame)
4 pieces N 906 986 03 (screws for mounting the unit)

Yes I think you'll need a 1.6 to 2.0 converter.....

also be prepared for your clock to shift to the right losing you a couple of digits on the MFD

on VWNavi it is apparently available soon for the new Touran, just need the cameras, and connectors... god knows how much that will be though!!!! Apparently a 'proper' iPod connector coming soon too which would be nice

Im very interested in trying this in my Leon. Only had it a month so pretty sure I wont have the problems etc. My worry is, all the pictures I have seen this done on have the large display in the instrument cluster. I only have the standard one (like this http://www.autoblog.com/media/2006/05/seatleoninstruments.jpg). Will this work with this display and will I get any changes to what it shows etc (such as direction info) or will it just stay exactly the same with the instructions on the main screen? Cheers for your help.

Hi, if you dont have the larger MFD screen, It will not show anything related to the sat-nav system in there :)

Cheers for that. Guessed it was the case. Any change of swapping out the dial? Put in the one with the larger MFD screen?

Thanks again

EDIT: Dont worry. Have read elsewhere that I would need to change the instrument cluster.

Hello!

I have Leon MY 2007 and have installed MFD2 DVD. Everything works, multifunction, original bluetooth, but I have a problem with the clock! MFD2 was from VW car!

1) Is there any possibility how I could fix this? May with some software upgrade or something?

2) Is it possible to change logo from VW to SEAT?

Thanks for any solutions!
