Nah the engine can stay in for that. I only went BlueFlame as i wanted an oval tailpipe and i gave ben the downpipe and cat for fitting the engine.

After looking at the intercooler pipework today, i think it's back to the drawing board:(

The radiator pipes are sitting right where i want the 'cooler pipework to be, coming from the throttle body. I'm going to hopefully have another look at the weekend when i've got more time and figure something out.

Got my BlueFlame downpipe and 100cell race cat fitted today. What a pain in the @rse!

Old compared to new:

A bit more bulkhead bashing was required:

Started to chop out the front bumper grille:

It sits VERY close to the bulkhead but seems okay. Going to give it a long drive later to see if it's made any difference.

Oh, and here's one of Roly swinging from my ARB!

Thanks again to Ben for all your hard work!

No probs dude ;)

Was a pain to fit due to it touching bulkhead and part of the floor, we'd already modded the bulkhead when we first did the engine conversion but it needed a bit more persuasion to make it fit

Got there in the end tho

The fitting was spot on as it was getting bolted to a blueflame center section anyway. There are threads for the lambda sensors in the new one, we hadn't removed them from the old one for the picture that's all.

I see the bit of scaffold tube got bought into play:D

Oh yes! That bit of scaffold has saved all of us!

Second time round for this one  was deffo easier 1st time with no engine in the way

Why is it always my car that's the pain?[:@]

Because it's a VR chassis :cartman: if you'd have got a nice XR chassis it would have been plain sailing (and you could have used my catch tank idea aswell

I'm going on the hunt for a clean XR chassis in white!

Haha. Nah i'm happy with what i've got. If i did ever have a prang then i'd look out for a XR shell but touchwood that'll never happen!
