well, as it took SEAT 6 months to sort my MFD2 out, I have sent the customer service manager for UK a letter asking what I need to do to get a replacement MFD3 unit fitted by SEAT.

Serbia... only Garmin/TomTom/iGO have maps for my country... Kenwood uses Garmin sw&maps...

eastern european maps are available, but getting hold of a copy may be harder.

tommy lives in czech.....ia (sorry, cant spell cz ), which is quite easterly in european terms. PM him and see if he can come up with anything. he's a top bloke with some top items for sale.

How does everyone find the radio reception on theirs?

My FM is perfect but AM is pretty non existent......

I notice on VWNavi someone who's just fitted the unit to their Octavia II has exactly the same problem

i quite like to listen to 5live in the car, a habit which has been buggered by the mfd3.
like you say, fm is spot on, mw is crap.
spend alot of time now downloading podcasts and using the aux in.
its a shame, but a small price to pay.

Me too and TalkSport.

I'm wondering if the two aerial sockets on the back - one is for FM and one for AM - I wonder if we need some sort of adapter so that our one lead plugs into both sockets?

I'm going to do a bit of searching on VWNavi :)

The two sockets is for 'diversity, where it uses two anteenas to pick up the best signal :)

You can get an adapter yes.

mw doesnt usually require an external aerial.
its probably all the other electronics around it shielding whatever internal aerial it has.
