Right guys - I'm gonna be honest - I don't fancy reading through 40+ pages of this thread so can anybody tell me why I can't find any frequency numbers at all on my keys? Looked on the spares and on the remote key and there is not one number on the key at all!

:help: I can't find any codes at all on the keys?!? The only thing it says on my key is CE! Which is nothing to do with it at all! Where are the codes?!

I think the boot button only works on the facelift Ibiza's. So it wouldnt work on mine. I've got my eye on a 2 key VW flip key - it's AG and 434 so thinking it should work ok! :)

HLO 1JO 959 753 AH is 433mhz 3 button

So do you reckon that if I go for this one the boot button will work? There is no boot pop button in the car and there's only two buttons on my original remote key as it is. My car is a 53 plate Ibiza Sport. I just dont wanna buy a 3 button key and only have two buttons working.

try it, if it doesnt work then sell it and buy a 2 button one. but it works on my 54 plate.

To be honest I'd probably just get the 2 button key. Even though the 3 button ones look nicer. But i dont ever use my boot really. and when I do there is the boot handle and you still have to lift the boot using the handle anyway so!.....

With the Ibiza... if you press unlock once it only does the drivers door - you press twice to unlock the passenger door and the boot.

I changed it with VAG-COM so when I press the unlock button it opens everything (The way my Toledo was) ... find it a lot better. :)

Ah right. Yeh I've unlocked it before and the passenger has practically ripped my door handle off trying to get in!

ok ,not ibiza mk4 related,but 2003 toledo,.
can i use the 3 button on mine? would be handy to have boot release on its own button.if not then 2 button is fine.
not read the whole 40 pages of this thread sorry, where i could get the blade cut( i'm sure al will point me me somewhere local matey ;) )it doesn't seem like a local lock smith would do,maybe local motor factors?
