They look pretty blue! You'd recommend them then Aimez? Your side light bulbs really don't look blue though.

I know the side lights look crap I bought them ages ago for my fiesta, they are just a bit better than the standard ones, I might get some new ones but I think everything will look crap and yellow next to the xenons now!
I would say its a excellent mod I can see so much more I didn't expect the difference to be that good, don't think I could ever go back to halogens and its only been a few days!

to be honest Phil this has been covered on many thread on here before I think 90% of people on here have heard it all before and are aware. If it has passed the MOT who cares TBH?!

Ok fair enougth.was only trying to help.

Going back to topic.............

Those look nice and not as blue as i have seen some 800K kits, thats just right realy. You thought of upgradeing the high beams as well?

When i fitted HID's on my old Hyundai they were that good the hig beams didn't seem to do anything, and they were only 4300K.

well yellowy and not as good light compared to xenons but like I say I would still use it as the beam goes higher and further in the dark.

Got the new lights allined today while the car was being serviced they were a bit out so glad I got it done.

Ah right. :) Well you should be grateful that you're a woman cos when you come to change the sidelight bulbs - you'll need your feminine ickle hands to get in. I made a mess of my hands! :(

Already changed them when I got the car as well as the indicator bulbs for silver ones.
It is tough, I destryoed my hands fitting these HIDs anyway putting the ballast in the side of the wing, I gave up on one of them it is cable tyed in front of the battery, I will move it somewhere better if I can!

what i used to do when fitting the Hella kists was have a look at the car layout.

i after looking at ibiza i think the best place to but the Ballasts looks to be on the front impack bar. Take the bumper off and put them there.

Also when mounthing them i always normaly put a small layer of sillcone under the bottom to stopp the vibrations braking the ballasts.

what do vibrations do to the ballasts ?

how do they brake ?

I'd have thought they must be pretty tough. They have to withstand cars going into pot holes and stuff surely? They're not gonna break every stone you go over. There's cars involved in heavy smashes and the ballasts still work.

We had a Subaru Legacy in work once and his ballasts weren't secured at all. Just floating around the engine bay. His lights worked ok.

thats what I thought, they must be as robust or more so than a bulb
