Just bought my first Leon Cupra...

Hi,

I have just bought my first Cupra T and am really excited bout pickin it up on Tuesday!

Got 100,000 miles on the clock but it has been serviced every 10k and in almost mint condition. Best of all... the price. £3,150!! Couldn't believe my eyes!! Result!

Anyway... mods planned...

Cupra R kit going on in January and respray to... White!! Love the new candy whte Leon's so am taking the plunge.

18" Bellini Bella's

Lowering.... Not sure how low to go so might go for a coilover kit. Or maybe 45mm suspension kit? Thoughts?

Forge dump valve

Possibly Pipercross Viper induction kit... any thoughts??

ECU remap

Think that would be it for a few months until my bank balance recovered!!

Anyone think I am missing some vital mods? I am very new to this so trying to learn as I go on...

2001 pre facelift model in blue. It's alright at the moment but TBH i aint that bothered about the styling or colour cos its all changing in Jan.

Cant' wait to get the kit on and colour changed though! Like a kid waiting for xmas!!

theres pics of a spanish one in white kicking about on here and it looks fantastic mate. glad you're happy, there was a set of cupra r bumpers on e-bay last week.

Dont go any where near the piperx viper, i had 1 and i LOST power and fooked up the maf and when i got my remap jbs told me to get rid of it and put back the old air box and get a green panel filter , but if u av to go for an induction kit get the dynatwist but the viper is a definate no no , worst 250 i ever spent , right tacky piece of crap. But def get coilovers my vmax ones cost a mear 360 quid and they are worth every penny and its very easy to rise or drop as i feel like. HAVE FUN AND GOODLOOK M8

i have a bmc cda airfilter and they are very good, no problems at all with it. also a few say the carbonio one is very good.

Thanks for advice. Yeh I was looking at dynatwist, dont really know how they work but everyone is saying they r pukka. so will probably consider one of these.

I was looking a Pi coilover kits so will proabably go down that route..

just out of interest if you dont mind me askin. what sort of price are you paying for your turbo conversion?

as yo can see iv got the zorst and dv and tip already so for a fmic ,4 bar fuel pump and regulator with 550cc injectors IHI big turbo and high flow manifold and 3 inch maf housing taking it to around 300-330 bhp im paying 4500 with a phase 3 remap. FUN TIMES AHEAD!
