Hi All

I managed to trade my 04 TDI Cupra with 60k on it (from new) in for a 2.0 TDI Sport DSG 2006 in flash red. Its really nice having an auto again, but i do miss the sporty looks of the MK1 cupra.

So i decided next year to grab some 18's (any recommendations welcome)

Also was thinking of getting this kit.

As i like the Aero but its just not aggressive enough for £1200, by the way i can get that Kondor kit for £650 primed.

Just wondered on your thoughts on it.

Cheers

Yeah its blish and the tip for manual is really cool, only thing i have to moan about is the fact the sport option doesn't really work for a diesel.

You see diesel's need to stay in the lower rev range around the 3000-3500 before a gear change and the sport mode just knackers this up its actually quicker in drive with a little lighter right foot as it changes spot on the right point.

Have you tried doing lauch control? Is there a specific way to do it?

Cheers

Haha nope...being an old fart ;) haven't tried anything so exciting as launch control but if you search the forum there are a few different threads about it and description on how to.
Basically put it into Sport mode, switch off ESP, rev it until she levels out and then foot off brake......or something like that
