I found the RamAir restricting my Ibiza even when it was only 230-250bhp (Pulled more g/s with the smoothed 'box).

Aluminum compressor inlet machined adapter. GT25R/28R, T25/28, super large bore. 3" slip-on connection. Nice inside taper all the way to the lip. 3" OD with lip for hose connection. If space permits, this would provide ultimate flow into the compressor inlet for peak HP/RPM performance. 3.25" center to center bolt spacing.
Star have fitted them onto 6-spd FWD cars, the 3" hardpipe intake has to be modified though, Craig's Leon Cupra went from 250 to 305 after fitting the 3" adapter and modified intake, final tweaking of the intake should see 320-330 as it is a bit compromised just now, hence the 305bhp figure. The S3/TT turbo sits higher, above the gear linkages, so the 3" intake goes straight on like butter and 330bhp is no problem.
If/when I switch to the GTRS, my plan is to use the S3 manifold, turbo, DP, etc., so it all goes on easily.
remember chaps that the K04-02* turbo requires a different manifold to the k03. It raises itself away from the head of the engine and so allows the turbo to sit higher than the linkages. Also it pushes the turbo further away from the engine due to the manifolds increased depth. This would be a good solution for the k03 guys to overcome linkage issues. But remember also a new DP would be required, but this shouldn't be a real problem as ubber DP designs exist for the K04 DP. The K04 mani's go on ebay really cheap.Heres a question tho, if you could get a k04 downpipe would it be easier and get more power if you went for a GTRS k04 eliminator version.
I know you'd stil have to fab a downpipe but fitment issues of the inlet and whole normal fitment issues of a proper GT28RS wouldnt be there.
I'm just thinking that Hooch had a k04 fitted to his Ibiza with no fitment/room issues.
