Don't forget that the only K04-23 high flow manifold is JBS's one, unless ATP have released theirs?

i think the k04 mani is alot better than the k03 anyway! looks like more thought has gone into it!

only fitment issues with k04 on ibiza was the rear engine mound and DP. i had about 2mm clearance but it wanted the loosest 'U' bend possible so you could use a tighter bend and miss it easy!

Heres a question tho, if you could get a k04 downpipe would it be easier and get more power if you went for a GTRS k04 eliminator version.

I know you'd stil have to fab a downpipe but fitment issues of the inlet and whole normal fitment issues of a proper GT28RS wouldnt be there.

I'm just thinking that Hooch had a k04 fitted to his Ibiza with no fitment/room issues.

Sorry to join in late, but I agree. the GTRS K04 eliminator would be a better bet on the LC than the K03 replacement.

This week I completed fitment of my Walbro additional fuel pump and my Snow water/methanol kit.

The Walbro is mounted under the bonnet in the feed line before the fuel rail.

Each pump (Snow & Walbro) is powered off its own relay, the relays getting their signal off the main fuel pump relay. The Snow pump is mounted on the bracket that used to support the old sidemount intercooler. The controller for the water/methanol reads boost from a hose teed off the N75 hose. I'm using the washer reservoir for the water/methanol; the spray nozzle is mounted into the silicon hose just before my throttle body. There is a little green LED to show when the pump is running.

I've set the controller to start spraying at 8psi with maximum flow at 24psi (linear increase).

Early this evening, I mixed myself up some 50/50 water/methanol. After filling up, I went for a test run. All seems to work fine. No additional noise at all from the Walbro up front. :)

Christ, it drinks methanol, I'm glad I bought a big drum.

So, after tea, a little bit of logging.

I mean, if you can run it on HB11 and T11 (Spinal Tap reference) and still get accepatble timing pull, it's doing a good job.

Or is that not what you meant?

I've put myself a bit in the dark as to the way forward from here.

(Apart from sorting the induction side out so the turbo is sucking air as freely as possible).

I assume I'm making power from timing (and from the methanol). Therefore, should I leave it at T9 and turn the boost back a bit?

Timing pulls still look a little high tho dave.

What plugs and gap are you running? You might need to regap your plugs smaller.

Looking good tho. :D

I think 50 / 50 is a little strong mate.

Mine was running 20% and that was richening it up too much when it was on dyno and actually caused a slight power loss, But if it is mapped with methanol ON then all will be sweet, just dont run out.

PS: i have about 4.5 Gallons of methanol sitting at work, i shal bring it to JBS for you mate, its no good to me anymore.

I hadn't intended to get it remapped, Matt. I'll try it with a lower mixture in a few days. Yes please to the Methanol . I will cross your palm with silver.;)

Dont want anything for it mate.

are you running wide band lambda gauge? this would be useful for monitoring what effect the methanol has on the A/F ratio.

Iam also running IK22 on standard gap, this should be fine for yours i think.

Excellent results there Dave.
How painful was the install and what does the Butt Dyno say.
Big ass Tip still needed to spool that turbo a bit sooner though. :)

The Snow kit install was relatively easy, Carl. Wiring always seems to take a lot longer than expected though.

With the Jetex on, it sounds good. Butt Dyno says it's fast, but I don't trust my judgement any more! Jetex logs later - (I have a lot of hedges to cut now)

Yes, Big ass tip still needed! I have the 80mm bends and straight silicons. I have a coupler for N75 / dv on its way. I just need the shifter cable bracket. I need to chase my tame welder.
