as for the exterior its going to be kept pretty much standard as i want it to be a "sleeper" once the engine is finally transplated! so im going for some light mods such as black smoked tint all round (not going too dark..dont want the pigs pulling me over and ripping them off), lowered around 40-60mm, eitha fit facelifted grille or debadge exsisting, gti lower grille with fog lights, gti rear spoiler, color coded mirrors and inset centre part of bumpers, euro style aluminium pressed plates with gb band, smoked side repeaters, cupra sport multispoke alloys refurbed in black or charcoal grey or euro style deep dish pepper pots (like original wheels but around 15/16 inch by 6.5/7) and then a full body touch up and respray before finally transplanting the engine for the 2.0litre 16v gti along with brakes, suspension (probably coilovers so i can get the right stance when lowered), de-cat pipe with 20vt backbox, strut braces etc etc

wish me luck
il keep you all posted with the progress!

Sounds like fun...

if you have deep enough pockets that is...

Good luck!

Next on the agenda: Set of Coilovers and Mk3 Cupra interior.

Any Comments or Suggestions on how to improve it? :help:

Love the colour of that green one and what's been done with the boot lid but are those Mk4 Golf headlights in there? Looks crazy, like something the Chinese car manufacturers sell! Not sure about that at all! :headhurt:

My Seat Cupra i couldnt think what else to do with grill as it aint the standard headlights, yes me and my dad, apart from the painting. av only had the car for a year still alot of work to be done and alot of changes on a low wage aswell as just turned 18, have been looking at a set of white compos.

DirtBiker they are halo mk3 golf headlights, and a mk3 golf tailgate skin grafted on, deceided a will delock that aswell to go with the door theme. never realised it would get that sort of reaction i thought it was suttle not crazy.

Surcalation take what you want Its only a 1.4 though. as for a spec sheet what do you want exactly. Its a pre facelift by the way an M reg.lol. i know the car could have been done with a good clean before a took the pics but i drive it 100 miles a day a couldnt be bothered. Am also thinking on a mk3 exhaust they look well nice

this always amazes me, people smooth the front bumper recess then proceed to put a japanese style import front plate on.
Tacky is what it looks like, why put money into getting it filled in, painted etc then stick a number plate where it shouldnt be, either put it where it belongs or risk running no number plate on your bumper and attatch it to your sun visor.

nice colour and the boot looks amazing

PS:
is that a mk3 debadged rear boot plymth?

Agree with that man ^^^^^

There are some nice touches to the car, boot does actually look good. Loose the lock and the panel gaps under the rear lights ;)

...as just turned 18...

i think this explains it hehe, we've all been there i had a "pimp my ride" ..citroen AX for my first car.

Well the front end is certainly unique! I guess the look kinda grows on you... Must look good at night too. Props for doing something different anyhow! :)

The front number plate came with the car my friends persuaded me to keep it on and i drilled holes all over the place to secure it, i am intending on changing it when a get the bumper fixed. yes its a mk3 golf debadged plymth. i was looking at buying your wheels david because they look amazing not in my price range though.

Jenk that is whats happening next time i take a trip to the painters delock it and get rid of that gaps.

Wheres the "rice or pimp my ride at" Boi Ninja, not as though i stuck on some huge japenese kit, with lexus lights, sum neons, spinners, maybe even big stickers all over the place, now that would have been a cool car.

Thanks for the comments guys i will be delocking the boot getting rid of the gaps, changing the front number plate, mk3 cupra interior, mk3 cupra exhaust, some coilovers from phil at jackson tuning only heard good comments about him.

Am impressed about everyones liking the colour everyone hates it where i live

Seen this car parked outside the football/sport center thing in Peterhead back in June (I was at the Cancer Relay). I remember thinking the grille needed some work, but I can see you've changed it a wee bit since, still slightly strange looking though.

I like the little green Seat badges on the loys. Headlights are kinda cool compared to the usual conversion!

needs new wheels, they dont work for me.

not unique enough to compliment the car.
how much you got to spend on wheels mate?

how hard was the mk3 tailgate to fabricate? hard work?

Spot on with the thing about the mods, everyone does the same. Curse that LCR splitter  Time to break the mold..........in a tasteful way ;)
