I have a question about shortshift to FMH model (~120km/h at ~2200 at 6gear. It`s the longest gearbox mounted at Ibiza&Leon TDI). I know about products from FORGE, but i think about parts from Audi TT.

The part we need: 8N0 711 051 B - ~19 EUR

Is it possibly? Anyone do that?

FMH is a model of VAG gearbox.


Audi TT have the shortest shift than IBIZA.


This element from Audi TT gearbox ->

can be installed at your gear box and the shift be about 20% shortest (The shift can be Like in LCR). Understand ?

Does anyone have a part number for it? was gonna buy a forge one but 20% less travel is probably enough for me if i can buy it at oem price. I think the forge one is 110 quid.

The price in POLAND is about 110 PLN ~ 20 quid in Audi Parts Dealers (Audi Service).

So will this fit my ibiza cupra and make the shift shorter? just so i'm getting this right and dont rush out to the dealer and buy one only to find it doesnt fit!

I don't have a metal shop in my garage, I dont even own a drill press, this is a bit dodge. I back out now I haven't got the equipment to do that. Would rather save up for the forge one! At least i know it will definitely fit the ibiza cupra tdi.

Sorry dude, but forge states that it won't fit any 1,9 tdi...

Actually forge kit is £76.26 for an adjustable short shift kit. Looks like a quality piece of kit.
