W000h000! Great news mate.. The bonus point (for me) will now be seeing C12RDY re-born on a worthy modfest of a Cordoba :funk: :D

Well it would be getting the reg number tonight... Except the DVLA office has closed in Reading and now have to go to another one... [:@]

On a brighter note it looks liek removing the wheel arch liners has solved the arch rubbing problem at the front. So now I just need to do some "correction" of the liners where it was scrubbing so they can go back in :)

if you are having problems with the bolts trying to get the caslapers off, instead of drilling them get a blow torch on them and heat them up to loosen them off.

Update on the oil leak...

Andy helped me change the sump gasket on Saturday. We managed to snap one of the sump bolts somehow before it was even tight :confused:

Anyway today I replaced all the sump bolts with new ones as they were only 50p each I figured I might as well.

So I just took the car out for a spin, it's raining so difficult to tell but I'm pretty sure the oil leak is still there. So it's not the sump gasket :( The oil collects on the gearbox side of the sump, around the gearbox cradle bracket. Is there anywhere else around there it could be leaking?

Well the Cordy will be at E38, all the mechanical bits ( well most ) are done. Hopefully sometime over the winter I'll get a Mk3 front end on and the respray done.

The interior doesn't have a time scale as such, but I want it done early next year. TBH the sub boxes and amp racks etc in the back aren't too bad a job, it's the dash that is going to be a lot of work.

Going to be busy this week then, i know how much of a mess installs can make of an interior whilst the work is in progress, finding a suitable place to stop is not easy - what dash are you putting in, something out of a vag or are you ripping yours to bits to install stereo stuff into it?
