Funny how all diesel drivers realise the power and speed of the petrol cars and respect that they are generally quicker, but the petrol heads refuse to accept that diesels are getting quicker and are becoming a match for them.
People can speak of their times or race results, yet they get discarded because they aren't petrol.
Shame.
Mate, did you not just read my posts?
I had a diesel as my last car! Golf MkIV GTTDI 130, I said diesel was fast, but not fast enough, thats one of the reasons why I moved over!
Not to mention, the smokey exhaust, **** sound, lack of usable power all round the revs, expensive tunning costs, bla bla bla!
I really don't know anyone with a performance car who says, God I wish I could get 45mpg - I'd trade my lovely fast LCR for that any day!
Em, no one that does less than 20k a year!
I do/did 300 miles per week, pay the £65-70 for the pleasure - cause I love petrol, revs, noise, usablitly!
PETROLS RAIN SUPREME!!!
