louder dv

right well i have a forge 007p and a bmc cda induction kit but im still not gettin the loudish tish i would like, atm money says i cant get a forger spltr, any ideas how i can get more noise?

well it will make it louder, but you wont get a tiss sound like jap car. They have 100% blow off!
If you get ahks ssq with the recircluating pipe. you make get that sound.
Not sure about the forge splitter valve, never herd them before!

i just have the air intake goin to where the standard airbox intake was placed, is this no good?

sorry ill reword, i have the cold air intake positioned at the same place where the one leading into the standard airbox was going, (behind the near side headlight)

Best way for maximum DV sound is to fit either a metal cold-air intake or an open cone filter, combined with a Bailey DV30 you get plenty noise! The BMC is very quiet compared to either of these, and the Bailey DV30 is louder than a Forge 007P, although the Forge is a higher quality valve.

thanks for the info on inductions and different dv's

as for not being able to afford forge splitter but being able to afford remap, i have a mate who owns a garage and is doin it cheap for me, and i see more sense in spending money on power rather than a dv lol
