Door Re-spray

Hi, bought my ibiza brand new 3weeks ago today. Went to drive off in it this morn and my girlfriend noticed a massive scratch along the door. It looks as though some swine has keyed it, the same has happened to my next door neighbours. havent had a chance to ring anyone about it but it looks like the whole door will need re-spraying. Just wondered if anyone else has had to do this and how much i should be expecting to pay.

A whole door is probably 200-300, roughly 150-200 for a rear cuprar bumper and 200-300 for my boot so i'm guessing that figure is about right.

got a quote for a rear quarter panel and key mark along rear door. It was 300 all in so prob about150 to 200 sounds about right.

turds with keys and little kids with attitude is why i am gonna build a drive into my garden soi they cant get at my smeggin car!!

If its the door, you'd normally have to blend through the wing to get a paint match, but with your car being so new, you might be alright.

Yeah im hoping it will be alright just to wack the paint straight on without any blending as it came straight from the factory, altho it is black and i know tha ttends to fade a bit.

if its solid black then it doesnt need blending if its metalic tho then wing at 1/4 pannel will need blending and door painting

if the key mark is deep then repiring will add cost too!

seat only do a metalic black, only colours non metalic which come free of charge are red, yellow and white(fr and cupra only)

They did, yeah. And then refitted it using a new bonding kit.

good to hear they done a propper job for a cheapish price alot of places will try and mask the rubber on the window it doesnt work same with a blend if you do get it sprayed make sure it is removed!!!!!

How much should I look for getting the side strips smoothed and sprayed Rash?
