Hope I'm not telling you something you already know but a whole door respray should include the cost of a new rubbing strip.
When the existing one is removed it will deform and cannot be refitted.
I'm in the middle of a huge dispute with a dealer and SEAT UK about a warranty respray on my drivers door.
The paint match is appalling (yellow), its been sprayed twice (door first time & whole side of car second time), and I've had a new rubbing strip fitted each time.
Get the work done as soon as you can. That way hopefully the paint match should be easier.
If the paint match is good bleeding the paint onto the front and rear wings shouldn't be needed.
Make sure the body shop spray the handle and lock barrel trim as well.
