OK, ForgeMotorSport, what DV parts would you recommend I upgrade on my 2005 MkI Leon TDI 150bhp (remapped to god knows what - but the clutch needs replacing)?

Sounds like I want to avoid whats just happened to Biglad

Phew! I don't have one!

What do I have? Surely when the boost goes over the top, it must be vented somewhere?
What's the equivalent on a diesel?

its rubber not plastic, so soft as not hard so damage to anything unlikely.

stick to a piston DV

My replacment dv has arrived! This is alot better and alot louder then my other! This piston loks stronger and the pen test so its can hold a better pressure.
As they promised i recived it today via recoreded delivery.
Many Thanks to Forge!

Quick question
the Forge 007P does it come with changable springs? (didnt get one in the package)

If yes, what spring does ut have as standard?

When i retuned my 007pa dv, i gave the weakest spring but i got the other 2, ( Blue , gold/yellowy).

This bites

Yeh had my new dv for past month now. Everything was fine, till i started to get a few issue such as turbo lag, the dv sound soft and loud, follwed by the turbo spolling up. Plus the Overboost limt exceeded.

So that past week i been hunting around the engine. ive checked the dv and done pen test. it was fine. then carried on looking. i then went back to check the dv again.

Removed it. ive noticed some oil around the dv out (compresser1).
Took it inside cleaned it. i then gave puff of air in and i could hear some thing hissing. I then filled one of the inlet with water and then began to blow. water began to drizzle from the side of it. Screwed of the pipe, cleaned all the oil/dirt deposit, then screwed it back and used some pliers to tighten . Improved it but still leaking. [:@] :banghead:
i know when its on the car it will leak more as its running at higher pressure compared to my mouth

Ive refitted my standard dv. but i know for a fact this will not last. :(
Have to get in touch with forge and hope they could help me again.

What I meant was could you use ptfe tape or thread lock to seal it? even as a stop gap? Halfords sell thread lock? should seal it up nicely?

Cheers for the advice, think i be fixing it my self, :( Forge havent got back to me and i have to head to Newcastle early morning.

I didnt get time to run to halfords, but ive done my own temp DIY. as im loosing alot of pressure. My mates starlet blew to power loss and i cant afford to loose pressure on the motorway. As it guzzles alot.

Ive wrapped some back insulation tape around it and then tighen it.
If this dosnt work im gettin the hot glue gun out! :censored: [:@] :censored: [:@]
