Less talk more boost

With the talk of bigger turbos remember the clutch will need replacing with something a little more capable

why would you want an evo! personaly i think the exspensive faster cars are common and make you look a bit of a twat! imo! i like slower cars made DAMN QUICK!

all depends on your money if you want something fast and dont mind filing up with petrol then personally id step outof the dark side and get a petrol any 1.8 20vt engine in the vag range and your laughing!

ive spent about £15-16,000 to get my car as it is and it is a wolf in sheeps clothing the look on peoples faces when i open her up is funny! and the bloke in the porsche i blew away the other day down some country roads! his face when it backfired past him at over 13*mph was truely picturess!

ever thought of getting a cupra petrol or even the derv

My Turbo blew on my FR TDI... The car was around.... 5 months old... if that when it happened. There were no modifications to my car at the time either, strange! As it was pitch black i didn't see any smoke etc out the back though. I lost all power, managed to coast to a layby and turned the car off..... wouldn't start back up.

 i hope so! cant have some1 else beating me! i intend on getting the clutch uprated again as im getting a bit of slippage in 5th! and tarrox g88 discs and ferodo pads then the diff i wont be going as far as internals and more boost as my pocket cant handle 400bhp+!

triple d is going to have to ruffle up a good 10k for the whole kit! afaik

Well the clutch will be taken care of, as i have contacts at AP racing, so the discs and pads will be also, Diff i may get from JBS im not sure yet, i may purchase through one of our customers at work or from the states. Internals, as i said above will also be from the states or Germany. Suspension wll be through work.Ill get everything done at either Allards or Jabbasport, my car isnt going anwhere near JBS im afraid...

Id estimate buying the car about £8.5k ;) then ill budget it upto £16k for the rest. So it will be a loan for the lot to be payed off over 3 years.

hey tripple d, I have that sort of money and more sat in the bank, just thought I'd rub it in :D

I'm saving to pay off my mortgage and 150 bhp is more than enough for my bizza :p

good luck with the project, sounds pretty involved with all that internal work

what internal work will be being done exactly ?
