Not a seat but very 'bling' 205 Dimma Turbo Technics + Renault 5 Turbo 2

Thought some of you guys would appreciate a few snaps of these two,
went to a photoshoot yesterday with my friend (owner of the Dimma 205), very nice shoot in a spanking new airhanger full of small planes and the odd helicopter.

The 205 is an original Dimma turbo technics sporting a quaiffe diff, coilovers, rebuilt hybrid t25, gti180 brakes, full leather.

The R5 is an original Turbo 2 (rear engine beast) with the only modifications being big brakes.

Both rare cars (the turbo 2 is very very rare) and made a nice looking shoot, anyway, enough rambling, here are some pics i took (with an old crappy cam).
The article will be in performance french cars magazine in an issue or so.

This is probably as good as french cars get. And both look sooooooo sexy. Very intersting wheels on the 205. They look like the standard 205GTI wheels, turned into 3 piece wheels and black coloured centers. Hmmm, if only so many others didn't get chaved up

They basically are standard 205 1.9 wheels turned into split rims, Image made them for dimma in the same style and they were supplied with the car when the kit was fitted by dimma, its all original (except the centre colour) - all 205 fimmas i think had these wheels, i expect many got damaged/sold/stolen etc.

Saw that very R5 at the Renault World Series last year. I think it was forsale for around 20k if I remember correctly, gotta love those old Group B cars.

A Dimma 205 will always look good IMO. They just look "right" in almost every way. I used to want a blue one many years ago and even had a poster of one.

there's an old fella in town that has an exact same renault as that,uses it quite often.stops me in my tracks everytime i see it.
he also had a yellow one that he sold.
memories of a proper rally one in a garage when i lived in germany.always a good excuse to go for a run and go drool at it through the window.

1.4 turbo churning out 350 bhp.thats impressive to say the least. AND 15 years ago.
