Difficult to tell from the pics.. looks like theres a mount point at the lower left of the cover as you look at the pic. And on the leon there could be a mounting point just to the right of the brake fluid resevoir and maybe to the left of the airbox. I'll have a nosey at lunch time though and get a better pic.

Oh well at least I could get a genuine seat part then maybe.. the brackets are there although it seems i would also need "ball heads" :cartman: for mounting it onto the brackets. I bet these covers aren't cheap though, but do smarten the engine up a good bit.

The 170 TDI engine comes with an engine cover, but the 140 TDI doesn't!

It changed when the 140 engine became available in Stylance trim. I know a cover is available for order, but I don't know the part number :(

If you go here:- http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/carreviews/firstdrives/59943/seat_leon.html you can see what one looks like.

That looks really good, makes it look much more modern. i have also seen audi ones which basically have the audi rings stuck on but i think vary in the colouring and have 2.0 TDI written on them

Think having seen that though i would have to get the genuine seat part.

I bought one off ebay a couple of months back for only £20. Also needed three ball mounting pins which I think were about £4 from a VW dealer.

It fits the same as the SEAT one but mine is off a mk5 golf. Beware the 1.9tdi cover is different to the 2.0tdi cover though.
