That wouldn't last 5 minutes on an LCR! The standard splitter catches on most things anyway... but that's at least double the height, if not more, so wouldn't just catch it would rip right off and, depending on the speed, take your bumper with it!

It's funny though, as when I was in the process of buying the LCR I really wanted to find a carbon fibre splitter for it. I'd been looking at the Focus RS and saw a few nice ones for that which looked really good, but still quite subtle and OEM looking.

I looked for them for the LCR and couldn't find them anywhere....

.... and soon realised why after my first visit to a multi story car park and over some speed bumps!

Had one of those on mine its not worth doing unless you want to change it every time you hit a bump

why not just buy a new one to get the dimensions? i think they're about £20 new. i'd have one off of you in carbon............ i'd also like to get hold of the black exhaust cut out part of the LCR back bumper in carbon fibre too!

Robdon had a standard dimension (i.e. not as deep as the supercopa one pictured) carbon front splitter done some time ago. Think it was in the region of £150.

I remember him saying it lasted about 5mins, so he didn't replace it...

I can imagine the carbon one wouldn't take the abuse as well as the standard one. At least the standard one is flexible plastic so it can bend and flex a bit if knocked. A rigid carbon one wouldn't, I imagine, have as much 'give' it in.
