Does the brace need to be 'modified' i.e bent atall to get it to clear/fit?
My brace started vibrating on the cover the other day. It always did a little from very low speed when your just getting the car moving, but once it was going i never heard it, however it was vibrating constantly after a service the other day, so i had a fiddle with it.
I pulled the engine cover off and found the rubber bit had stuck to the cover support. I tried to get it off, but with the brace in the way it made it tricky and it fell down the back of the engine. never to be seen again.
put the cover back on, and there is no vibration at all! Bonus.
so if your does vibrate, try removing the rubber from the support below the brace. it will allow it a few mm of clearance and avoid vibrations.

Fitting

When all you guys say " im gettin it fitted" does that mean that the bolt holes are not present .
Bcos on previous cars i just remove the bolts which hold the suspension cap in place in the strut and tehn slide teh strut brace over teh top and re bolt it all.

from what im reading some of you guys are talking about drilling. etc

is this strut brace not a straight fit??
