Now i have that on im considering going down the k03s route, cant make my mind up whether i want a new car or not though.

Bodywork will get done no matter, just dont know if it's worth getting the turbo, downpipe/sports cat, pressure reg and the map. Or just buy a Focus RS...

you havnt had it long have you?

i suppose it depends how much you want to spend and what your expectations are going to be.........all my mates have cars with over 300bhp so i get left for dead everywhere. slightly annoying but im happy with mine at the mo. lol

Got the car in November and had a fair few problems with it like the clutch, engine mount snapping resulting in the need of a new cambelt etc!

Im liking the car again now though with the front mount fitted and would like it a bit quicker to suprise a few more people!

You pay for what you get, at the end of the day I never skim on the cooler costs but thats me. I choose to buy what I think will work the best and that comes at a price!

yeh must be nice to have an endless supply of cash

If I had endless supplies I'd certainly have other things at this moment in time! :p

What I mean is all these £90.00~£120.00 cores can't be as well made as the likes of Forge, Allard, Pro-Alloy, etc... I know theres paying for a name, but I've also seen the craftsman ship that have gone into the big name coolers and the eBay coolers.

Cooling isn't everything, you need to take into account flow rates, heat dispersion, pressure differences, etc... I've done the Forge route and for a KKK turbo car is was great, on a 300bhp car I'd however go for a larger core. The Pro-Alloy one is a great bit of kit for big power, however it involves quiet a bit of cutting work to the slam panel.

Making your own cooler kit is a fantastic idea, and can save £££ but don't skimp on the core. All big name cooling companies will sell universal (and even car specific) coolers on there own at almost half the price of the kit.
