I took advantage of the good weather to have the car cleaned...first thorough clean since the winter (have just been jet washing off salt + grime in the mean time) really hope the forecast is wrong and it doesn't snow tomorrow :)

looks really nice Andy.

Got it all sorted in the end then...

Its had quite a bit of warranty work (~£5k - new wishbones, Rear trailing arm bushes, airbox, airbox flap, steering wheel, washer jets etc etc), which has improved it no end - especially the wishbones + RTABs have made the car much more predictable on the limit.

It gets faster in a couple of weeks too... AP front+rear brakes going on it, full milltek system, and a stage 2 remap... It should be mental.

Got some more driving lessons with carlimits.com before then too.

Looking awesome Andy! :)

How's the wrist? Are you supposed to drive yet? :)

Wrist is still in its cast... doctor reckons it would be ok to take off in 1 week, I think its ready now.... but thanks to typical ******* NHS b0llox there's no free appointments for 2 weeks, so the cast comes off on 3rd april.

I can drive now... dunno if I'm supposed to or not, but doctor did say I need to use it as much as I can to stop it being useless when the cast comes off.

really nice motor you got there bud........what sort of power are you seeing from her at the mo?

hopefully its around 360bhp at the minute, as thats what it came out of the factory with.

With the full milltek + remap from thorney motorsport, it should be up to about 380bhp or so, but with bigger gains midrange.

No other plans yet.

maybe in the future I'll fit intrax suspension and perhaps adjustable top mounts... the main benefit of that would be to enable me to fit wider wheels to the front which would quell understeer.

I think I'm just going to have more driving lessons in the mean time.

My mate got so tired of the NHS he cut his own cast off! He sat there chopping into it at work and an hour later it was in pieces on the desk! :D
