Even nicer CSL, do you know where the rear LED lights came from at all ? Good colour choice, and just love the look of it - shame i can only afford the 330D. The guy i got it from just picked up a CSL to replace it, and an M5 last week too (lucky B).

They are pretty hard to find those good ones, a couple of dodgy versions that mean you have to put in LED 851s instead.

Jees, you've been through a few cars since selling the 944. What did you think of the RB5; totally overrated like I did?

The LEDs on the CSL are original - they started from April '03 production on the coupe and cab. Genuine ones are the best way to go for an upgrade, but if your car is a 330d rather than a 330cd then they won't fit. No idea on quality aftermarket ones for the 4-door.

I could keep the 964 I guess, but I'd really like just one car with emigration looming and the 530d can go after it's taken us to France on holiday next month. Trouble is I also like a convertible on days like today turned out to be but I worry the M3 cab will be disappointing after the CSL and I'm worried about residuals of the Z4M Roadster as they are so new and already available from BMW for £10k under list with 6k miles and decent spec including sat nav. I can't possibly justify £30k+ (in cash - I don't do finance for cars) without selling the 911 first and the 530d after. I did get a couple of comical offers for the 964 through eBay today, but unless someone gets real it's all academic.
