I want to start to get me engine bay looking nice and clean ready for the summer and thought that i might have a go at polishing a few bits! i know there are quite a few people on here that have done this and made a really good job! o i was wondering if someone could help me out and try and give me a quick guide of how i should go about it and what i would need tools wise?

any help would be great!

I took my car off the road for a week and took my charge pipe, inlet mami and some stainless bolts to a polishers and let them do it, only cost me £60.
I then used WD-40 and a rag to clean up everything else.
I also took the engine cover off and removed all the brackets.

olly didnt you fancy having the rocker cover done at the same time?

I did but the guys said it has to many parts he couldn't get to and suggested i get it plated which i haven't got round to yet.

I got them polished by some guy in a shed near were i work, good bloke.
Why not look in the yellow pages for your area and ring round, i found out (when i started looking) there are like 10 places near me.
