Forge Remap Software?!?

You will find our software is out there but we dont shout about it .
The figures you see given ore conservative real world figures that will be correct on any rolling road anywhere, We only tell you what you will get , not what you want to hear , If any one would like a remap we are happy to quote them , we offer custom remaps to compliment the Forge hardware that we fit .

If you know anything about Forge as a company you also know Customer Service is fantastic and you are buying from an established tuner. Not something that can be said of a fair few of the new breed of 'remapper's'

If you know even a little about the backgrounds of the people involved with this ECU tuning for Forge (and I freely admit I only know a little) then you quickly establish they 'know their onions' and are highly respected by some of their more 'established' contemporaries.

Also the lack of hard sell and advising me not to waste money on bits I didn;t need (when I had my LCR) was a refreshing change.

Quality Forge service and a good product in my book

i know forge are the nutts and are very good but i done a search for remaps ages ago and revo seem to be the best as it gives the user an agressive kick, but also found out other maps although doesnt produce the same kick runs less power but holds boost longer. Im assuming it depends what kinda driving you prefer. all i was asking really is what is it like to have a forge map?

I've driven 2 cars with a Forge remap

their old demo MkV Golf Gti and my Own old Audi A3 1.9TDi

Both were Smooth, powerfull and felt exactly like stock with more grunt.

I've also had a Revo remap and that was excellent too (both in the same league IMO).

not every one likes an aggressive kick as its not neccessarily to their taste or driving style. Feels fast, but is it any different to other smoother options on a 0-fast blast?

each to their own.

IPro is the software from Forge.
Sound, smooth reliable with good customer service etc.
"conservative" is a word I would probably use to describe the power outputs. Some tuners claim high figures some give conservative ones, but reality is not a lot between them in just power terms.. Drivability is equally important.

As for various staff, its an industry norm, and you would be surprised how information and people move around.

although i have revo and i love it!! The forge map will be kinder to your turbo in the long run.

it could be...but one thing i like about the huge kick is when big engine cars for example i had fun with an evo 8 (mustve been bog standard 2.0l version) down the dually as he wasnt expecting that lol just makes me laugh. My mate has the revo for his leon which is smoother but i like agression
